Reports say that the Lagos State Police Command has arrested Funke Akindele for hosting a party contrary to the social distancing and lockdown stipulated by the government.
The Lagos State Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said that the actress had been taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba.

Recall that the actress had been criticised on social media Twitter to be precise for throwing a party during the two weeks Coronavirus pandemic lock down. She also went ahead to share the pictures on her Twitter page. Funke akindele is also an ambassador for the NIgerian Centre For Disease Control NCDC.
