Kolawole Fagbohun has been chosen as the next Head of Service for Ogun State by Governor Dapo Abiodun.
This was said in a statement made on Monday night in Abeokuta by Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, Secretary to the State Government.
The announcement claims that the appointment is effective right away.
Fagbohun succeeded Dr. Nafiu Aigoro, who announced his retirement from public service on Friday, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.
A “multidisciplinary professional with a rich background in social science, with core competence in human resources, perception, and reputation management,” according to the statement, is how Fagbohun was described.
“Fagbohun was named the 2007 Ogun State Public Service Merit Award Winner.
He served as the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs until his most recent appointment as Head of Service.
The announcement read, “Among other things, he had served as Permanent Secretary in the Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services and Bureau of Service Affairs.”
