NECO releases common entrance result, six students score 01

According to reports, six candidates out of 202: National Common Entrance Examinations taken by the National Examinations Council received a score of 1.

In Abuja on Wednesday, Andrew Adejo, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, disclosed this while providing a score breakdown.

According to Adejo, “A total of (72,865) students registered compared to 71,738 for 2022, with Taraba having the fewest (102), and Lagos State having the highest (18,644). Sixty nine thousand, eight hundred and twenty nine (69,829) students took the test; 38,801 female registrants compared to 34,064 male registrants shows that we are closing the gender gap;

3,036 students were not present, 76 students received the maximum grade of 203, and six students received the lowest grade of one.

“I want to thank everyone who helped make today possible, starting with the examination council, the monitors, markers, and pressmen who were present. The exam was successfully administered, which shows that NECO is getting better at giving its exams.

As you are all aware, the majority of parents in the nation now turn to our Federal Unity Colleges as their first choice. The federal government is working hard to secure better conditions, even though we currently have difficulties with infrastructural development, food, and teacher quality.
