The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has ruled in favour of Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola, in the Osun 2018 governorship election case.
The election tribunal judgment had earlier ruled in favour of Senator Ademola Adeleke, declaring him winner.
Oyetola, and His party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had filed series of appeals, seeking the setting aside of the decision of the tribunal.
Adeleke on the other hand had filed a cross-appeal, challenging the decision.
It was gathered that the lead judgement was read by Justice Jummai Hannatu Sankey.
There was also a dissenting judgment from one of the judges on the panel, but majority favoured Oyetola.
