Abubakar Shekau, leader of the Boko Haram insurgents in Nigeria has given a condition to the release of the remaining chibok girls who were kidnapped 6 years ago.
in a video released hours after President Buhari paid a condolence visit to Borno state, Shekau said that the girls will be released if the Federal government let go of the sect members currently in detention.
He also warned the president not to return to Borno state again stating that he will be attacked if he steps foot in the north-east again.
The group launched another attack hours after Buhari visited Borno state over the killing of 30 persons in Auno community near Maiduguri, on Sunday.
