News reaching us says gunmen stormed the ECWA Church in Kabba, Kogi State, while service was in progress, abducting the pioneer Provost, College of Education Technical, Kabba, Dr. J.O.T. Oshadumo, the resident pastor, and a female worshiper.
Kabba, the traditional capital of Okunland, is located in Kogi State’s Kogi West Senatorial District.
According to eye witness, Oshadumo, who worshipped regularly in the church after his retirement, was abducted during the service; the hoodlums also took the pastor of the church, whose name could not be determined right away, and another female worshiper.
According to reports, a security guard from the College of Education Technical, Kabba, identified simply as Reuben, was shot and killed while attending the church service.
As of the time of filing this report the kidnappers had not yet demanded a ransom.
