The Anambra State Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Police Command Department, has stormed a carjackers’ den in the state and arrested three suspects.
Recovery made were a bus and a Sport Utility Vehicle as well as arms and ammunition.

A Toyota Highlander SUV, which was reported to have been snatched from one Christopher Oraukwu at gunpoint on the Ekwulobia Road in the Aguata Local Government Area of the state was also recovered.
Haruna Mohammed, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Haruna confirmed the incident to our source says the suspects were arrested at their hideouts in the Achalla/Nkpor area of the state.
He said the suspects had confessed to the crime and would be charged as soon as investigation into their activities was concluded
It was gathered that the report of the missing Toyota Highlander SUV with number plate APP 49 FM and other valuables of Christopher Oraukwu, led the police operative unit to swing into action which led to the arrest of the suspects.
He gave the names of the suspects as Chidi Ugoji, 31, from Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Government Area of the state; Okoye Onyebuchi, 34, of Umunachi in the same local government area; and Onwe Chigozie, 22, from Ikwo, Ebonyi State.
He said the suspects had confessed to the crime and would be charged as soon as investigation into their activities was concluded.
