Social media has been thrown into a frenzy with stories of a possible hack on the Bolt-taxify app.
Some customers of the taxi app have complained about multiple debits on their accounts today, even without getting on any ride whatsoever.
The management of the company have reacted to the news saying that they have not been hacked, but that its payment provider may be experiencing some technical issues.
” Bolt taxify has not been hacked. Also, we do not store credit card data. Our payment provider is possibly experiencing issues which we are trying to clarify.
