According to Ortom, PDP NWC is disobeying the court.

Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State, claims that by submitting him to the PDP’s disciplinary committee for alleged anti-party conduct, the National Working Committee is violating an active court order.

Governor Ortom added that disobeying the court order prohibiting the party or any organ of the party from taking any disciplinary action against him was disrespectful of the leadership of the party.

the PDP’s National Working Committee accepted the expulsion of Pius Anyim, a former governor of the state of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose, as well as professors Dennis Ityavyar and Dr. Aslam Aliyu from the states of Benue and Zamfara.

Nonetheless, the party also forwarded Ortom’s case to its National Disciplinary Committee due to alleged anti-party acts in its judgment.
