The Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal has commenced its hearing today.
Presiding over today’s tribunal is Justice Bulkachuwa who has been served a petition on may 10 by the PDP asking her to rescue herself from the trial stating that she has very close ties with the APC and may exhibit some level of bias in her judgment.
The Hope Democratic party HDP on the other hand had also written the tribunal to stop the acting CJN from swearing-in the president.
Those present at the hearing are Mallam Nuhu Ribadu former EFCC boss, who is representing the President Muhammadu Buhari for the APC and the National Chairman for the People’s Democratic Party PDP Uche secondus.
More details on this to come shortly
