SANUSI RESIGNS AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF 5 NEW EMIRATES BY GANDUJE

The District Head of Bebeji Local Government Area of Kano State, Haruna Sanusi resigned his appointment on Monday.
His decision is coming after His disagreement with the installation of the new emirates by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

It is reported that the ruler has given reasons for His resignation as having challenges with His health and the change in the emirate system.

Kano state now has five emirates, they include; Rano, Bichi , Karaye, Gaya, and Kano.

The new heads include;
The Emir of Gaya Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulkadir Gaya,
the Emir of Rano Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila
The Emir of Karaye as Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Abukakar ll.
And Ado Bayero, son of late emir of Kano will be the emir of the newly established Bichi Emirate.

The Kano Emirate is to be headed by Sanusi Lamido with only 11 local governments: Nassarawa , Kano, Tarauni, Dala, , Fagge, Gwale, Kumbotso, Ungogo, Dawakin Kudu and Minjibir.

Rano emirate will control Rano, Bunkure, Kibiya, Takai, Sumaila, Kura, Doguwa, Tudun Wada, Kiru, Bebeji.
